Brad Hilliker joined the firm in 1999 as a skilled Project Manager, with a focus on creative design solutions that are based on technical excellence and human interaction with the land. His professional experience covers a broad range of project types. His formal education, combined with his previous 23-year career in ornamental horticulture, and 15-year management of the landscape at Knott's Berry Farm, provides Brad with a unique perspective on landscape design.
Brad has extensive knowledge of plant palettes for the western and central regions of the United States, and is also aware of the cultural requirements necessary to help determine their proper use and creative placement in the landscape. His involvement with interaction of people within public spaces has provided him with a heightened awareness and sensitivity to design issues and protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Brad is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Cum Laude. Brad is a licensed landscape architect in California.
Brad enjoys traveling with his wife to both near and far-away places, shooting photos (especially in those near and far-away places), gourmet pastries, and music from almost any genre.
